MCL Dental Lab is Long Island’s full-service laboratory and production facility for dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures and much more.  You may actually be wearing some of MCL’s work and not even know it!  That’s because MCL Dental Lab—services all Dentists, Periodontists, and oral surgeons from Brooklyn to Montauk – the entire island.

The company was originally known as Metal-Craft Laboratory, which was founded – - – 1939 first in Brooklyn then Elmont and finally in Hempstead. Today, MCL Dental Lab is owned and operated by Scott Klaire, a third generation dental technician whose father, Joseph, specialized in making crowns. Scott doesn’t just sit behind a desk and run a business. He does it all from production work to sales… he even delivers.

“I love Long Island,” owner Scott Klaire says, “and I absolutely love doing business here.”

One of the advantages about MCL Dental Lab, your product is actually made on Long Island and not in some foreign country with questionable materials.

“Too many times you’ll hear about someone who had dental work done in another country and it had a poor affect on their health.” Scott explains.

That’s because certain percentages of metals such as nickel or even lead in the final glaze of crowns can cause more harm than good.

MCL Dental Lab does not test metal. They use American Dental Association (ADA) approved Argen metals which have all been thoroughly tested.

What is MCL’s goal? To educate and make Long Islanders aware of where their dental products come from.
