MCL Dental Lab Featured Provider of the month: Dr. Lawrence Rosenzweig
Hello. My name is Dr. Lawrence Rosenzweig and I own a dental practice in Wantagh. I was born in Syosset and have lived on Long Island all of my life. I left for a few years to attend Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia as an undergraduate and then stayed on to attend Emory Dental School.
If you’ve ever been to Atlanta, you know it’s a wonderful and exciting city. But it was always my dream to come back to New York, to raise a family and to make a living on Long Island. So when I finished school I did just that. Once you’ve lived on Long Island, nowhere else in the world compares. After I finished dental school, I married a girl from Long Island and we have spent the last 30 years living here and raising our 3 children.
I grew up in a family that loved boating. With the Long Island Sound to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the south, boating and the beaches are an inevitable pastime or diversion from the frantic and frenzied life we often lead. But if water sports aren’t your idea of a good time, then maybe it’s the many museums and theaters that are more your style. But whatever you fancy, very few places offer the variety of choices that Long Island does.
My wife and daughter are both teachers on Long Island. I have a general dental practice which includes cosmetic, implant and pediatric patients. It’s the love of what I do and where I do it that makes all the difference.
