Harbes Family Farm:

You can visit the Harbes Family Farm Mattituck location for a Wizard of Oz themed corn maze. They also have a mini-maze for the tiny tots, pony rides, wagon and hay rides, and the best Fall sweets and treats on Long Island! Harbes also sells roasted corn and homemade candy apples.

Schmitt’s farm in Melville is great. It offers a hay pyramid, a corn maze, wagon ride and farm tour with farm animals. And for grown ups only: Schmitt’s also offers one of Long Island’s spookiest Haunted Houses and a Haunted Corn Maze. This farm is open 7 days a week!

White Post Farm

White Post offers the most interactive Fall festival on Long Island. They have sing-a-long hayrides, a stage performance, pony rides, kids karaoke, games and activities for your kids to play. If you love pumpkin picking… by actually going into a pumpkin field and picking a pumpkin from the vine… then this is the farm for you. You can find apples and all kinds of vegetables to pick as well. This farm is the real deal.

Hicks has been around since 1853. Hicks offers a great Fall Festival with live animals, hayrides, pumpkins and Otto’s free animated story. It is one of the best spots for younger children to visit. With bins of pre-picked pumpkins and an easy to find and get to location, Hicks is also one of the most convenient.
