We live here and know the best places to hangout at. We know some great spots to grab a quick inexpensive lunch or a fancy dinner. We frequent the beaches on the north and south shores. We see amazing sunrises and sunsets from Montauk Point to Port Washington. We can show you where the New York Islanders play. We can take you through some breathtaking gardens and museums. Montauk Point
Montauk Point is located in the hamlet of Montauk, at the eastern tip of Long Island in the Town of East Hampton in Suffolk County. IT is considered “The End” of the South Fork of Long Island, and New York State. IT is at the end of Route 27, also known as Montauk Highway.
IT contains the Montauk Point Lighthouse, which was authorized by the Second Congress, under President George Washington in 1792. Construction began on IT June 7, 1796 and IT was completed on November 5, 1796.
IT is a place filled with picnic tables, food, playgrounds, nature trails, fishing, hunting, hiking, cross-country skiing. IT is the site of some of the best surf-fishing in the world! We want to know… What’s IT to you?
